Mabuhay from the Philippines!!
Praise the Lord!!!
God has been moving mightily here!!
Now, Lord …. grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness Act 4:29-31
10-07-2006 – Airplane
An older Cambodia lady sitting behind us was getting sick. The stewardess tried to help the lady by putting towels around her face. Lileth talked with the lady to ask what was wrong. Lileth anointed her with oil and prayed for her and God healed her and she was no longer sick. Then later on Lileth asked her if she knew Jesus. She did not, so Lileth lead her to the Lord. She promised to go to church with her son who was a Christian. Praise God!
10-08-2006 Sunday
We had an incredible service in the home church of our host, Pastor Vic Cavuevos, in Novelicshes Metro Manila. The power of God was so strong. So many people got healed. God loved on His children and touched their lives. Two were called to be missionaries.
We had ministered last year at this church and in the neighborhood. My heart leaped to see the incredible growth in the church. They went from thirty people to now over 100! It is awesome to see first hand the fruit of a previous year’s crusade.
10-10-2006 Tuesday
We flew to Tacloban, place where Gen MacAurthor had famous “I shall return” speech. We then road in a van for 4 hrs to our hotel in Borongan which would be our home base
We meet with the pastors of the churches we are working with on this trip to go over the detail of the crusades.
10-11-2006 Wednesday
Orias, Eastern Samar
We rode a jeepney for 4 very bumpy hours from our home base. Over 80km of pot holes from heavy rains. Please pray that the government will fix the roads. The government is very corrupt here and they have been pocketing the money for personal use instead of fixing the roads.
In the jeepney a family was returning home from hospital where the old lady had an issue with bleeding. We prayed for her and felt the power of God come over her. Her husband accepted Jesus as His Lord and Savior! They were the mountains were the gospel has not been preached. They were so happy when they go off jeepney to be on boat to go home.
As we traveled we noticed that everyone lives in Nipa huts, most near the ocean or rivers. The poverty here is much worse than in Manila. Oh God help us to show your love to them!!
In the service the Lord healed many. God healed backs, headaches, breathing problems, and high blood pressure. To God goes all the Glory and Honor!!
Two stories of God’s miracles:
My wife, Lileth, prayed for a young girl whose leg was twisted. After praying the girls legs straighten up. Praise the Lord.
I prayed for a man with a large goiter. I put my hand on the growth in his back. As I was praying I felt the growth get smaller and smaller. Thank you Jesus!
We fed 125 families.
We had 45 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!
Dolores, Eastern Samar
As we got to Dolores, the heavy rain came. After the rain stopped, we had our crusade. We thought that no one was going to come. Praise God, they all showed up. God multiply the rice!! We pack 125 bags of rice. After we passed out 150 bags, we still had 25 left! That was 50 extra bags!
God healed so many. Many got healed from back pain and headaches.
We fed 150 families.
We had 200 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!
God’s Protection
We rode a jeepney 10km back then transferred to a public bus for rest of the trip back to home base. After being shoved into bus like sardines in a can, we had to endure a bus driver who was swaying back and forth to avoid the large pot holes.
We were rejoicing over what God had done that day and then the bus ran out of gas 4km before our stop. It was dark and I suggested we start walking. But God had already provides for us. The devil had the bus run out of gas, but God made the bus to stop in front of one of the pastor’s house who was with us. This pastor had a motorcycle with side car. Glory Hallelujah!! All 8 of us go inside and on top of side car singing and praising God for providing for us!! We thought we lost the pastor on top of side car when we hit a huge whole. But his angel made sure his feet were tucked in the back of roof. Thank you Jesus!!
God’s Provision
Lileth and I had been praying for God to provide funds, since we do not have enough to pay for two other rooms in hotel for our JIC team and Pastor Vic team. One of our JIC team members, Josie, was text a friend of hers from manila and her friend asking where Josie was. Josie text back that she was on mission in Samar. Her friend text back that she was house sitting her employer’s home in Samar. The house was just a few blocks from hotel. Josie’s friend stated that they could stay at the house with her for free!!!! They contacted the owner and ask, he stated yes, since we were doing mission work!!! Thank you JESUS!!!!!!!
God is good all the time!!!
Please keep us in prayer.
Thank you to all you partners!! You have a part in all that God is doing here!
Thank you in advance for all your financial support and prayers!

Mabuhay from the Philippines!!
Praise the Lord!!!
Traveling across Eastern Samar, we see ocean sides, mountains, nipa huts (one room grass houses), and small towns. The roads are narrow and full of pot holes for miles. Each barangay is separated by a river. The main road that you travel on, winds around the coast line. It is very nice to look at, except when you hit pot hole after pot hole. We feel as if we are riding a bucking horse for miles!! God gives you strength to endure all — Even pot holes!!!
The people are very open to hear the Gospel! They are also very grateful for rice that they receive. Most of the people live very simple lives here. They live in one room grass homes or if they have some money, then they have metal roofs. We see very few concert homes here. No traffic here. There are very few cars on the street. Children can be seen walking back and forth to school. In most cases they walk for 5km to school.
A very common site sis 10-18 Filipinos crammed into and on top of jeepneys, bus, or motorcycle with sided car.
God has given Lileth and I so much compassion for the people of Eastern Samar. We feel honored that God has chosen us to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these people!
10-12-2006 Thurs
Can Avid
We traveled 60km on pot hole filled streets. It is like riding a bucking horse for 3hrs. Your back and bottom take most of the punishment. With God’s grace and power we endure the trip. We sing to the Lord and exchange stories of how God used us in other mission trips to pass the time.
We got to the location for morning crusades and I started to play with the children. I often do this, since children are first to want to talk with the “white” Americano. I chased the children around the building and tickled them.
The Holy Spirit poured his love out to these people. About 90 percent never went to church. We saw God heal backache, headache, heart conditions, breathing problems, and clear up blind eyes.
Lileth prayed for one woman who could not see. After laying hands on her, Lileth asked her if she could see the cross at the front of the building. The lady could see it and more!! Glory to God!!
I prayed for a lady who could not see and had problem with headaches and breathing. After laying hands on her and praying, she felt the fire of God come over her. She now can see good, breath better, and has no more headaches. Praise the Lord!!
I also prayed for a lady who had a heart problem. She felt the fire of God coming into her heart. After praying she felt as if God gave her a new heart and she was feeling much better! Glory to God!!
God multiply the rice again. Two pastors, Pastor Lordman Cabuenos and Pastor Rod Diga, who were part of Pastor Vic Cabuenous’ team, were finishing packing the rice. As they packed, instead of 25 bags per 50 kilos they got 27 bags! They packed 20 extra kilos!!! God is good!!
We fed 150 families.
We had 200 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!
Taft
This was an area made up of mostly senior citizens.
Once service started and Lileth was giving her testimony a middle age man came in and sat in the front row. He smelled of alcohol and had cigarette and matches in his hand. He lit his cigarette right in front of Lileth while she was speaking. It was obvious he was trying to disrupt the service. Pastor Vic asked him to smoke outside. During my preaching he came back in and sat down up front. During the healing line, Lileth laid hands on him and commanded the demon of alcohol to come out him. He became sober immediately! When alter call was given, he gave his heart to Jesus!!
I prayed for an older lady that could not hear or see very well even with her glasses. After God healed her eyes she did not need her glasses. I then prayed for hear ears. Both of her ears opened up and she heard everything I said!! Praise the Lord!
God multiplied rice again. Everyone got rice, more than 200 people. Then one 50kg bag with 25 bags was left! Glory to God!!
We fed 200 families.
We had 250 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!
God is good all the time!!!
Please keep us in prayer.
Thank you to all you partners!! You have a part in all that God is doing here!

Mabuhay from the Philippines!!
Praise the Lord!!!
In the seven years we have been doing crusades here in the Philippines, we have never seen the power of God poured out on his people this strong. So many miracles. The blind eyes open up. The deaf hear. The weak become strong. Those who cannot walk normally, walk without pain. So many headache and backache cured I think we have put Tylenol out of business!
It has been incredible that God renews our strength everyday. Going back and forth over the long trip to the crusades everyday in the natural would wear on a person, but God has given all of us supernatural strength. We get up at 5am and return by 7pm everyday.
As we travel we talk about what God has done that day and previous days. One of the pastors, Pastor Lordman, stated we needed to get a scribe to write down everything. Since God has been doing so much we cannot write it all down!!
10-13-2006 Friday
San Julian
This church and the pastor’s home behind the church was heavily damage in the typhoon from two weeks ago. The church has been repaired, but the pastor’s home still has wall down and roof torn off.
Pastor Robert, who is under Paul Chase church in Alabang Metro Manila, sang for us. He has a very anointed voice along with a humble heart. The Holy Spirit came down and poured out His love to His children.
God healed so many people of headache and backache.
I prayed for a older woman whom God healed some many problems. She first stated that she had problem with headache. After praying for her headache and God healing it, she stated that she had problem with her eyes and poor vision. I laid hands on her prayed for her eyes and God healed them. Then she stated she had problem with her back. I laid hands on her back and prayed and God healed her back. The she ask for prayer for her knees. I went to pray for her and forgot which part of her body I was praying for. I had to ask again which part of her body we were praying for. I prayed for her knees and God healed them! God had much patience with her! From now on I will ask for all the problem to pray for up front.
Lileth prayed for a woman who was so thin and weak. After Lileth prayed over her she felt the power of God and she felt strength coming into her body! Thank you Jesus for your Strength!!
We were blessed with fresh coconut from the tree. The coconut juice tasted very good.
We fed 150 families.
We had 200 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!

Giporlos
We traveled for 3hrs over bad roads to this church. Oh the people had gathered for 1hr before we got there singing and praising God.
So many people in such a small place. God’s power came and healed so many headache, backache, and breathing problems.
A little girl with a high fever came to Lileth for prayer. As Lileth laid hands on her the little girl started to shake all over. The Lord told Lileth to gave the girl some water. The fever left the girl and she was back playing with her friends. Thank you Jesus!!
I prayed for a lady who could not see very well. After I prayed for her, we had her test her eyes and she could see! Glory to God!
We fed 200 families.
We had 250 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!
Quinapondan
What a place! The church is just a dirt floor with roof only no side walls. This in this crusade there were about 50 mountain people never been in church before and had never had the Gospel preached to them! They came down from the mountains all around. It was amazing to see the flood of people coming down the mountain paths.
Even though the rain came down heavy the people kept on coming!! So many over 70 years old came down from the mountain! A lot of these mountain people had worn out shoes or no shoes at all. Their heart was so open to hear the Gospel! The harvest is so ripe, but the labors are so few!
A mountain woman never been to church had blurred vision after giving birth. She could not read our banner in front of the church. I laid hands on her eyes and felt the power of God flow into her. After we tested her eyes she could read our banner and much more!! Glory to God!!
There were more people that came than we had rice for. Oh how this always excites me. For it is when we do not have enough rice for the amount of people attending that God multiplies the rice. He did here. We only had enough rice for 125 families and we passed out 200 bags and had 25 left over!! Glory to God!! You are our provider!!
Again we had fresh coconut juice right out of the coconut that had just been taken off the tree. This juice was even sweater that the ones from yesterday!!
We fed 200 families.
We had 250 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!
God protection again!
As we were coming back to home base, a 3 hr drive, God again protected us. We were about 18km from our home base and it was very dark. So dark that you could not see the person next to you. We had just crossed over a bridge when the vehicle we were in had a flat tire. We able to pull over to a place where there was a light and benches to change the tire. It was as if God told the devil, you can only cause a flat tire in the only place for miles were there was a light. Thank you Jesus! It so good to do the work of the Lord! He also takes care of us!! One of the pastors with us stated “The devil is bobo” (tagolic for stupid)
God is good all the time!!!
Please keep us in prayer.
Thank you to all you partners and friends who believes in us!! You have a part in all that God is doing here!

Mabuhay from the Philippines!!
Praise the Lord!!!
It has been wonderful to see my wife, Lileth, turn into a preacher! The pastors with me stated that Lileth is a real preacher now, since she does not want to stop talking when she has microphone and she states 4-5 times “Just to make it short”, her version of “In closing”. She went 45mins one time preaching instead of giving her testimony. I was so blessed to see it happen. She was anointed!! Hallelujah!!!
The people’s hearts are so open to hear the Gospel. They are so very thankful for the rice that we give them. We told them it is from Jesus! That He loves them!!
The main jobs people have are farming and fishing. The farmers grow rice and Coconuts. The Coconuts are harvested for two different uses: 1) Eating 2) Copra. Copra is when they drain the coconut juice and cut out the actual coconut meat. Then they cut away the outside of the coconut and dry out the remaining parts. They sell it to manufactures that use it as a raw material for soap, shampoo, and coconut oil.
Even as poor as the pastors are, they are so sweet to feed us after each service. The hospitality of Filipinos is beyond words!! Filipinos have a big loving heart.
10-15-2006 Sunday
Hernani
What a Glorious morning! Praise the Lord for his Joy!! This Sunday morning we arrived to the church early so I started to play around with the people. God’s joy was so strong. Normally I am not a funny guy, but this morning, under the anointing of God, I became a really funny. We laugh so much it was awesome to see the people have so much fun at church. There were people inside and outside of the church. I was very hot but the Lord kept us happy!!! We had 7 people who could not see due to contracts, open up by the power of Jesus Christ!! Hallelujah!! Glory to God!!
I can never get tired seeing God show up in such a powerful way as to multiply the rice! Oh how He want to feed His children!! We had 125 bags packed and we handed out 150 with 5 left over. Thank you Jesus! Every time I see God do this I think of the boy with the two fish and how he gave it to Jesus. We made not have enough to feed everyone, but we have a God who can. We give what we have into His hands, and then He makes up the difference and adds more!! He is a God that is more than enough!!!
We fed 150 families.
We had 150 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!
Llorente
We held our service in an Assembly of God Church. All the people who attended where unbelievers. Behind the church was a cemetery where local witches would hold services. As we came into the church we could feel the evil that surrounded the area. We all started to pray against the works of the enemy. We got a breakthrough!! God healed so many and everyone who came got saved! Thank you Jesus! No light bulb in the church and it was raining, but Jesus made away for us to see.
This was the service where Lileth preached for 45mins before we started. The Presence of the Lord was with her!! Hallelujah!! God opened up blind eyes and cured headaches and backaches!
God multiplied the rice by adding 30 bags to our 125 so that we had 5 bags left over.
We fed 150 families.
We had 200 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!

Praise the Lord!! Our last day of crusades! We traveled 1hr to our first crusade of the day. This was held in a big basketball court with stadium seating (very rare here). We got there early, so I started to play around with the children and adults that were there. I chase the children all over the place. It was so much fun!!
We fed 200 families.
The people were very open to the Gospel here!
During the service we had one lady whom could not see out of her right eye. I laid hands on her and God opened up her eye! Praise God! Hallelujah!!
One of the pastors with us, Pastor Lordman, had cast 2 demons out of a lady while we were laying hands on people. After I had finished laying hands and praying for the group in front of me, the Lord had my focus go to the lady who was on the floor that the 2 demons had been cast out. The Lord told me there was one more still in her. I commanded it to come out and the demon spoke to me and stated in a very strange voice that he was not coming out. I reminded the demon, in a very loud voice, that every knee should bow and every tongue confesses that Jesus is Lord. I told him to come out again and it did. The lady testified to everyone how she felt so free now!! Glory Hallelujah!!!
What would a crusade be for us if God did not multiply the rice? Well, He did again!! He added 25 bags for the people and 5 left over — 30 more total!! What a mighty God we serve!
We fed 150 families.
We had 250 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!
God protection again!
Thank God for His protection! After the service we went across the street to a small canteen (a place to eat) and had something to drink and some puto (small rice cake). We then got into the multi-cab (small jeepney) to go to Borongan not knowing one of the pastors had left his bag that had our airline tickets back to Manila in it. We got 4km out and saw a beautiful beach and one of pastors, Pastor Lordman, asked to stop to take pictures. Upon getting back into the multi-cab we notice the bag was missing. We started praying and all had peace that we would find the bag. We then went back to the canteen and praise the Lord the bag was still there and nothing was missing!! We know that God told Pastor Lordman to stop the vehicle so he could take some pictures so that we would not lose time going all the way to Borongan and have to turn back to get missing bag.
Borongan
This was our largest crusade. There were about 500 people in the basketball court. Pastor Robert sang and the heavens were opened!! During the praise and worship I saw a huge angel that stood about 25 feet tall! He was in front of basketball backboard with His wings opened!! The I saw an angel at each of the two doors! Then the Lord told me to look up and I saw angels all around the top. They were singing with the praise and worship leader, Pastor Robert!! Oh what a heavenly sound.
During the service, so many people where set freed and healed by God!! Several demons where cast out by the pastors! Glory Hallelujah!!
Lileth prayed for a woman who had ovary cancer and the woman felt the power of God flowing thru to her ovary! She testified of the during the testimony time.
Before the service I was playing with the children and a middle aged lady stated that she wanted us to pray for her daughter who was with her because she was deaf. I told to come forward during the healing line. She did not, but I saw the girl in line to get rice after the service. Even though I did not have an interpreter, I laid hand on her and prayed that God would heal her. I started testing her ears. First the right ear opened up a little, and then completely opened. Then the left open up a little, then open up fully. Thank you Jesus!!!
After the service, a lady came up to me and asked me to pray for her 15 year old daughter that was with her. She was having very bad panic attacks. When I laid hands on her, the Lord told me that she would be a nurse and that she had a problem with math and that God was going to open her mind to understand math better. She and her mother go so excited! I did not know them, but God gave me a word of knowledge for her!! Hallelujah!!
What can I say, God multiplied the rice!!! We only had enough for 300 families, yet we passed out rice to 425 families!!! Oh how Jesus loves to fed his children!!!!
We fed 425 families.
We had 450 people accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior!
Monday 10-17-2006
Pastor Conference
Praise the Lord! We had an incredible time at the pastor’s conference! The meeting lasted for 6hrs! I preached for 4hrs. I shared with them about thinking and dreaming big! The Holy Spirit showed up and took over the meeting and for 2hrs! He loved on His pastors! Oh the power that the Holy Spirit poured upon the pastors was incredible!! We were all crying and weeping under presence of God!!! The pastors went away on fire for Jesus!
Conclusion
